Hanging out with Mom

Happy Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Nana and Pops. Cason had mashed potatoes and sweet taters, and Lizzie rolls. The faces he made were priceless! After dinner, we let Cason work off his dinner by playing on the floor. He loves to sit on the floor and talk, play and bounce. We are woking on getting him mobile so he is spending a lot of time on his tummy.

Who said bath time isn't fun??!!

Cason has finally decided that bath time really isn't that bad. Especially the splashing! I think Cason is on a secret mission to see how wet he can get Jamey and me!!! He does a very good job at it!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween Costume

Had too much fun at the Arboretum taking pictures of Cason. Jen, Chad, Weston, Brooke and Gary came along too to get some family photos. The next time we decide to do this it will not be on Texas-OU weekend! It was worth the wait though!

Family Photos

Basket Case!

I decided to take advantage of the first nice evening we had. Cason is so photogenic- well most of the time! Thanks Christy for the great basket! Love it :)

One cute kid :)

Pneumonia

Cason was diagnosed with Early Stage Pneumonia this week. He has had to take antibiotis and breathing treatments. The breathing treatments are not fun- for him or mom and dad. We have to hold him down and hold the mask up to his face so he can breath in the meds. He does not like it!! Poor guy has had a rough week. Jamey was able to stay home with him Tues, Wed, and Thus. Friday he had a follow up with Dr. Rutherford. She said he was doing so much better! Yeah! A lot of love and some r/r at home with Dad did the trick.

FOOD!!!

Cason went to his 6 mo. chech up and was given the go-ahead to star baby food! Oh what a joy :)

He loves his baby food. Momma still reigns supreme but Gerber is a close second- ha ha!

Let it go down in the history books (and my scrapbook) that his first food was carrots. Hey- at least we did not have to worry about it getting in his hair- it blends!
Day 2- Green beans- Blends with the shirt today (thanks Aunt Bisser!).

Angel at rest

TOES!!

Cason has discovered his feet. I didn't know toes could be so tasty!

Surgery

Two days after surgery- napping in mom and dad's bed.

Cason had to have minor surgery on Sept 3. He is such a trooper! He did quiet a bit of sleeping the following days. He has 2 scars that are in belly creases that will blend in as he grows. Mom and Dad were nervous the day of his surgery but pulled through with prayers and family/friends support! Thank you to all who thought of us during this time. It means so much to Jamey and me that you all were thinking of us and saying a prayer or two.

Labor Day in Austin

Gammy and PopPop with Cason
Three generations of Stegalls!
Cousin Quinn and Cason.

We had a great time in Austin. All the Stegall family was there- Great family time!

Cason did very well for his first time being away from home. Look forward to going back.

Blessed!

Cason is such a wonderful baby. Jamey had a softball tourney today while I had a lay training committee meeting. Cason was stuck with me and had to go to the LTC meeting with me. He was such a good baby through out the whole thing. The only fussing he did was at lunch. He knew it was time to eat!! Like father like son :)
Everyday I can't help but thank God for him. He is truly a gift and a blessing to us both. I am so excited to watch him grow and learn. It is so amazing to see how much he knows and has yet to learn. Jamey and I are so lucky to be a part of this journey.
Cason has learned to roll over! He has not figured out what to do once he gets to his stomach so he lays his head down then starts to cry. Guess we better start picking things up off the floor! He will be off and crawling before we know it!
Love to all!

Cason

It is amazing how much he has grown in 4 short months! He is now 25 lb and 27 inches. He is jokingly known as the linebacker in my office.

Now that I know how to post pictures I will stay on top of things!

Love to all
