One cute kid :)

Pneumonia

Cason was diagnosed with Early Stage Pneumonia this week. He has had to take antibiotis and breathing treatments. The breathing treatments are not fun- for him or mom and dad. We have to hold him down and hold the mask up to his face so he can breath in the meds. He does not like it!! Poor guy has had a rough week. Jamey was able to stay home with him Tues, Wed, and Thus. Friday he had a follow up with Dr. Rutherford. She said he was doing so much better! Yeah! A lot of love and some r/r at home with Dad did the trick.

FOOD!!!

Cason went to his 6 mo. chech up and was given the go-ahead to star baby food! Oh what a joy :)

He loves his baby food. Momma still reigns supreme but Gerber is a close second- ha ha!

Let it go down in the history books (and my scrapbook) that his first food was carrots. Hey- at least we did not have to worry about it getting in his hair- it blends!
Day 2- Green beans- Blends with the shirt today (thanks Aunt Bisser!).

Angel at rest

TOES!!

Cason has discovered his feet. I didn't know toes could be so tasty!

Surgery

Two days after surgery- napping in mom and dad's bed.

Cason had to have minor surgery on Sept 3. He is such a trooper! He did quiet a bit of sleeping the following days. He has 2 scars that are in belly creases that will blend in as he grows. Mom and Dad were nervous the day of his surgery but pulled through with prayers and family/friends support! Thank you to all who thought of us during this time. It means so much to Jamey and me that you all were thinking of us and saying a prayer or two.

Labor Day in Austin

Gammy and PopPop with Cason
Three generations of Stegalls!
Cousin Quinn and Cason.

We had a great time in Austin. All the Stegall family was there- Great family time!

Cason did very well for his first time being away from home. Look forward to going back.
